Compensation Commissioner and 2012 Return of Earnings form incentives

The Department of Labour is offering discount incentives to all Employers if the 2012 Return of Earnings is submitted online on or before 30 April 2013:

  • 10% discount on assessments settled within 30 days
  • 5% discount on assessments settled within 60 days
  • 2% discount on assessments settled within 90 days.

Also, amnesty is being offered to Employers for all outstanding Return of Earnings not submitted for the last 4 years – a special waiver of penalties and interest will be granted on these returns if submitted before 30 June 2013.
