The changes to the current labour legislation and the introduction of the new employment laws will have a drastic impact on various aspects of the employment relationship. Therefore, we should all be preparing for the changes by reviewing our employment contracts, policies and practices for outdated contractual provisions or workplace practices before the implementation of the amendments to the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act and the new Employment Services Act.
