Remember the purpose
In the spirit of Ubuntu, MD & staff have donated 201 tins of food to Ladles of Love on their initiative to build a 6.7km line of tinned food and donate it to those in need.
We are so grateful to be able to make this contribution.
Mandela Day 2021 (Sunday 18th July)
With so much going on around the world, we fortunately still have an opportunity to help others in need.
Mandela Day is one initiative where we try and include everyone however with Covid and social distancing, we can only do so much together.
This year, Ladles of Love has introduced a cool initiative and we thought we could encourage everyone to get involved.

They are attempting to beat a Guinness World Record on Mandela Day – longest line of tinned food.
The target is to raise a total of 90 000 food cans to beat the current world record!
Our intention is to make a generous donation so if we collect 67 tinned cans of food, MD will match that by donating another 67 tins of canned food. We can donate as much as we want to though, that depends on us.
