Dear Client
SARS has introduced a new form to capture basic employees’ tax and salary information — IRP511. This is a summary for all manual IRP5 certificates issued for the 2007 tax year and each certificate must be listed for SARS to easily and accurately upload this information onto their system.
The IRP511 for the 2007 tax year must be completed and submitted to SARS on or before 28 September 2007.
Please see attached document which includes the cover letter and IRP511 form for your convenience.
We also advise that with effect of 1 October 2007, the maximum earnings limit for UIF contributions has been increased to R149 736 per month (R12 478 per month) – please advise your payroll departments accordingly.
(all documents will open in a new window, alternatively right click “save target as”)
