Return of Earnings form – deadline 31 May 2012

- 2012
Online Submission option now available!
As reported previously, the deadline for the 2011 W.As 8 return for Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) submission was extended to 31 May 2012 but many Employers may have not yet received their unique bar-coded Return of Earnings form (due to internal problems experienced by Department of Labour).
The Department of Labour has now made an online facility available for the Return of Earnings submission. The link to access this function to register and submit the W.As8 return on-line is http://roe.labour.gov.za/DolRegistrationWeb/landing.html.
To ensure compliance before 31 May 2012, Employers may use this as an alternative submission process.
Please contact Juanita Roman at our offices should you have any queries in this regard.

I am trying to apply for a letter of good standing. So far I haven’t manage to get through to roe. Can’t you make this a bit easy to aplly for a letter of good standing. Some of us doesn’t have access to internet. Please send me a detailed way of applying as we are not getting any assistance from labour offices.
A letter must be faxed to the Department of Labour requesting a letter of good standing for the Employer

The response will be sent to the address on their system for the Employer.
Please assist, when trying to register on the ROE website, I encounter the following message when I try to verify my id: individual details fetch failed….405. I tried it several times to the same affect?????
Please refer to my previous message response above dated, 25 March 2013. The document referred to on their website would give more clarity on your query.
Unfortunately, there is nothing further we can assist with from our side in this regard (you would need to contact the department directly).
