“A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of”. – Nelson Mandela
We believe in sharing our success and appreciation with the community and our clients. Our vision of “Financial Leadership Through Professional Excellence” goes hand in hand with our corporate social responsibility offerings.
We have made donations to the following charitable organisations on behalf of our clients, as we continue to work with and support those in need.
2014:
Atlantic Hope – a wonderful summary of all the good that this organisation already does and plans to still do:
“The members submit their report for the year ended 31st March 2014.
Atlantic Hope continues to pride itself on a non-racist, morally strong, culturally diverse, religiously tolerant Place of Safety, always acting in the best interests of the most vulnerable members of Cape Town’s Society in need of Child Protection Services.
During the past financial year we have maintained adequate accounting records, our Level 4 B-BBEE recognition, holding a constructive AGM and reporting to The Department of Social Development. The time spent on forming and cultivating relationships with Private and Corporate donors has been beneficial and we have continual, regular monthly funding with commitments for a year. This, by way of monetary donations and a grant for baby essentials, equipment and medication. Our achievements have included a group of private Pathologists sponsoring all investigative blood, tissue and other testing. Our services are used by existing and new Hospitals and Social Services within the Western Cape and surrounds. Many more infants have benefited from us caring for them holistically. We have played an active role in looking after two infants who were suspected alleged victims of child trafficking. We have regular Volunteers, Paediatricians, General Practitioners and Ancillary Service providers such as Occupational and Physiotherapists donate their expertise. Atlantic Hopes Social Media efforts have improved. We have an active Facebook page with more than 800 regular followers, are using Twitter and have a well maintained website which attracts many visitors.
Our objectives for the upcoming year are to harness existing and new relationships with prospective funders, donor service providers and volunteers. Continue employing tolerant, engaged and caring staff members. Provide staff with training such as first aid and CPR updates. Improve our fundraising efforts so that we can reach more babies to our maximum legal quota which is five children at one given time. Organise and hold our first Annual Fundraising event.
We, the Atlantic Hope family/team are looking forward to further growth and expansion during the upcoming year. In summary, we have sustained and grown the organisation, furthered our reach and maintained our commitment towards equality and service to humanity.

Santa Shoebox Project
This festive season we have again taken part in the Santa Shoebox Project, giving back to children who have so little over Christmas.
“The Santa Shoebox Project is an inspiring community initiative of the Kidz2Kidz Trust (IT2671/2009, PBO930031301, Section 18A, NPO 102-098, B-BBEE Level Four Contributor) that co-ordinates the donation, collection and distribution of personalized gifts at Christmas time to underprivileged children across South Africa and Namibia.
Participating is a profoundly valuable and personal experience with each donor selecting the child he or she chooses to pledge a Santa Shoebox for by name, gender and age.”

– The Mustadafin Foundation
The Mustadafin Foundation was established in 1986 during the Apartheid era. It emerged as a result of political unrest and violence in the Crossroads township. Crossroads, at that time was isolated and violence that erupted was due to faction fighting. It had a devastating effect on the local community, particularly women and children.
