What do I do if my employer has been taking my tax and UIF monthly and now during this period, he claims funds are low and doesn’t want to pay my April salary?
Yet every month he has been taking tax and UIF deductions from my salary.
Hi
You would need to contact the Department of Labour directly on 0800 843 843 or 012 337 1680 for further assistance in this regard.
I’m trying to apply for TERS for my employees. What to do?
Hi
Kindly access the TERS online portal on https://uifecc.labour.gov.za/covid19/ and follow the required registration process. Application process instructions can be accessed on https://uifecc.labour.gov.za/covid19/applicationProcedure.
Good day
I have an employee that only works 1 day per week. Her monthly salary before UIF deduction is R1138.05
TERS payment received for her for March/April period is R4027.45
What do I pay her? And what do I do with the rest of the money?
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi
Please direct your technical queries to the Department of Labour/TERS call centre on 080 003 0007 – they would be able to address your queries relating to the TERS payments.
Queries can also be addressed to Covid19TersSupport@labour.gov.za if their call centre is unavailable.
